IT'S BACK: the Left Bank Ciders 2025 Butt Apple Calendar!

2024 was a return to some of our favorite apple picking spots—Madman Steve’s incredible heirloom orchard in Windham, the Onteora Club, where they let us borrow a golf cart, and to the lovely pear tree at Mama’s Boy Burgers in Tannersville. We were overjoyed to see that some of our favorite roadside seedlings were fruiting again, and that the “DEC apple savanna” (trees growing on public land in the Catskills) was bursting with tiny crab apples. After last year’s disheartening freeze, it was a nearly perfect apple year and a joyous return to our old haunts. And, obviously, we found plenty of butt apples along the way…
